The international electronic scientific journal “edu. e-history. kz” (registered at the Committee for Communications, Informatization and Information of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, registration certificate: No. 14602-IA dated October 29, 2014) is the only registered electronic scientific edition Kazakhstan established in the framework of decisions made in result of the extended meeting of the interdisciplinary working group (IDWG) held on June 5, 2013 under the chairmanship of the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.M. Tazhin with a view of further active inclusion of modern info- communicative technologies in scientific context, which will serve as a base for formation of the new research heuristics, new methodology of digital humanities, applied use of network technologies as a tool for promotion of the national history, establishment of the new paradigm of the modern Kazakhstani historical science.
The journal publishes research papers in the following areas: history (world and history of Kazakhstan), source studies and historiography, archeology, ethnology, anthropology.
The scientific journal acts as a platform for the integration and interaction of Kazakhstani humanities scholars with the world historical academic community, a channel for the exchange of scientific information, enabling scholars to present the results of scientific research through modern means of infocommunication in the global digital space. The content of the edition is aimed at researchers, scholars who are interested in the issues of world history, including the history of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, neighboring states.
The editorial policy of the journal is aimed at popularizing the results of new developments of Kazakhstani and foreign scholars in the field of historical and related research, actualizing publication activities on the part of experts and young scholars.
Aim / mission of the journal "edu.e-history.kz" is to provide conditions for an open scholarly discussion (including with foreign researchers) available on the Internet; promote the exchange of professional experience and dissemination of research results and new methods, interdisciplinary approaches; to encourage the publication of research results of reputable scholars, doctoral students, applicants who are interested in the issues of world history and the history of states and societies (including Kazakhstan and Central Asia), the humanities.
Objectives of the journal: the journal "edu.e-history.kz" familiarizes the intellectual community in electronic format with the achievements and innovations in the study of the Central Asia region and the world, peoples and religions, states and communities, and the cultural heritage of nations. The edition is aimed at preserving traditions and supporting young scholars, promoting new concepts and interdisciplinary research in the humanities, reflecting original findings and conceptual approaches in science on the pages of the journal.
The scientific journal is registered at the International Standard Serial Number Center (ISSN International Center) (Paris, France), ISSN 2710-3994.
The journal and published articles are assigned digital object identifiers DOI (publisher prefix: DOI.10.51943).
The scientific journal is included in the list of RSCI journals (Russian citation index). The electronic version of the scientific journal is in open access in the Scientific Electronic Library of the RSCI on the website eLIBRARY.RU.
In addition, the journal is included in the list of academic editions approved by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the publication of the main results of scientific work (No. 1627 of October 30, 2014; time of inclusion in the list: September, 2021. Order No. 290 dated 06/26/2022)
The journal complies with the basic publishing standards for the design of articles in accordance with GOST 7.5-98 and GOST 7.1-2003.
Verification of the originality of articles is carried out by the StrikePlagiarism licensed system, on the basis of an agreement with the company.
The journal is open for cooperation with Kazakhstani and foreign scholars, scientific centers and research teams.
Publication frequency – 4 times a year in electronic format.
