Dear Authors!
The editorial board of the scientific journal «еdu.e-history.kz» accepts for publication the author's texts of research articles containing the author's developments, conclusions, recommendations that have not been previously published and are new, or analyzing previously published research articles related to a common topic (systematic review).
The research article must correspond to the stated purpose and the subject area of the journal.
All articles are in the public domain and can be read without prior permission from the publisher and the author. Commercial use of journal materials is prohibited.
Due to the large number of manuscripts received, the periodicity of their consideration and review may take from one to six months.
The cost of publication due to the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of History and Ethnology. CH. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology (January 2025) is 40 000 tenge. Payment is made, according to the details of the institution, only through the banking system! Payment for the publication is made through JSC "Bank Center Credit" on requisites:

In accordance with the requirements of the CQAFSHE (Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education) MSHE RK, a scientific article must contain:
- Statement of the issue and determination of the relevance of its research;
- Analysis of recent studies and publications, highlighting previously unresolved parts of the general issue to which this article is dedicated;
- Theoretical foundations of research, methodology and characteristics of the empirical base;
- Statement of own conclusions and intermediate or final results of scientific research;
- Conclusions and prospects for the use of research results.
Submissions to Journal of «еdu.e-history.kz» are made using Open Journal System, the online submission and peer review system. Registration and access is available at Submissions.
To do this, the authors need to register on the journal's website upload the article, drawn up in accordance with the requirements, in electronic format (in .doc, .docx, .rtf formats).
The author for correspondence is obliged to provide a cover letter for publication in the journal.
The texts of articles sent to the personal e-mail of the editors or the journal e-mail are not accepted.
After being submitted to the editorial office, the article is assessed for compliance with the journal profile, technical design requirements, anti-plagiarism check and double-blind review procedure.
The uniqueness of scientific articles is determined by preliminary verification in the anti-plagiarism system StrikePlagiarism, including international databases (uniqueness must be at least 75%). Articles that do not pass this threshold are returned to the author for revision, and then sent for re-checking. No more than two checks for anti-plagiarism of one article are allowed from the moment of receipt by the editorial office and after revision, taking into account the comments. In case of detection of plagiarism and other violations of scientific ethics during a second check, the articles are rejected from publication with written notification to the author (with the relevant certificate attached).
Only in case of a satisfactory result (uniqueness from 75%), articles are submitted for review. Based on the results of peer review and technical verification, the article can either be rejected, or sent to the authors for revision, or accepted for publication.
Upon receipt of a positive review, the editorial board notifies the authors of the acceptance of the article for publication. If reviewers and editors have comments, the authors are notified of the need to correct or supplement the article. In case of refusal to publish an article, the editorial board sends a reasoned refusal to the author.
Revocation or correction of articles is possible at the stage of anti-plagiarism check, review procedure, computer layout of the issue (by online submission of a request through the author's profile on the journal's website). The publication of corrections, apologies, refutations of the information published in the article is made by the editors at the request of the author in subsequent issues of the journal, after considering each case on an individual basis.
The editors assign each article a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) DOI serves as a hyperlink, which always helps to find the desired document, even if the location of the article (site) was subsequently changed.
The authors are responsible for the selection and accuracy of the facts, quotes, statistical, sociological and other data, proper names, geographical names and other information.
The editors reserve the right to make editorial changes. The editorial board can publish materials without sharing the author's point of view (for discussion). The editors reserve the right to publish or reject the manuscript.
